Course Registration

Facilitating the enrollment process for students, including adding, dropping, and withdrawing from courses

Add or Drop a Course

At the beginning of the semester you will have two weeks to add courses or drop courses, without receiving a "W" grade.

Course Waiting List

Automated Registration Waitlisting is a process that permits students to add their name, directly through Student Information Systems (SIS), to a list of a section of a course that has reached maximum enrollment and is closed.

Cross Registration

You can register for courses at other colleges and universities in the Capital Region.

Late Add/Drop Course Policy

If you wish to petition to add or drop classes after the published deadline, you may submit the Late Add/Drop Form.

Pass/No Credit

The Pass/No Credit option allows you to take courses outside your curriculum or minor program.

Registration Holds

Each semester, students will be responsible for completing the 'Financial Agreement' before they are able to register for classes, This will show as a hold on your account. To clear this hold, please go to the SIS landing page, and in the 'Students-Important Links', you will see a link for the financial agreement. Please click on the link, enter the term, and then the resolve button for the agreement will be at the bottom of the screen.

Registration Time Tickets

Students are assigned a time window to register, referred to as their "Time Ticket". The time ticket will be sent to you 4 weeks before registration

Undergraduate Research and Independent Study

To participate in an Undergraduate Research Project or an Independent Study course, a faculty member must act as the instructor for the course. Please consult with your Adviser to ensure the course will contribute to your degree requirements.
