May Commencement Eligibility Requirements

• Students who complete all graduation requirements prior to the date of commencement will be cleared for their diploma.
• In special circumstances, students with twelve (12) credit hours or less remaining toward completion of their degree(s), can petition the Office of the Registrar for permission to participate in the commencement exercises but will not receive a diploma. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. *Under no circumstance will students with more than twelve credit hours remaining towards completion of their degrees be allowed to participate.

Note: Diplomas are mailed to students after commencement exercises to the address entered during the graduation application process. Diplomas will list the degree and major only, no minors or concentrations are on that document, but they do appear on the official/unofficial transcript.
